Application Integration Engineer

Blutic is looking for a skilled and dedicated Mid-Level Application Integration Engineer with 5+ yrs technical expertise in Windows Server administration and an emphasis on application integration. This role requires a proactive individual who can work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of various applications.

This is a remote opportunity with 6 months project engagement with possibility of extension. The candidate should be willing to work in either of US time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee integration tasks, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of applications.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring application performance, stability, and ongoing system support.
  • Utilize IIS, Tomcat, and other web hosting software for effective application deployment.
  • Develop process automation, enabling consistent and repeatable deployment.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and business groups to coordinate upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and manage project work.
  • Works with internal teams to support and develop business solutions.
  • Document processes and maintain accurate records for ongoing operational improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in application integration engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Competent in supporting the technical, operational and application needs of appropriate moderately complex applications or subcomponents of a highly complex application.
  • Knowledgeable of application architecture with basic skills in technical documentation of application system installations and moderately complex system flows.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry software, particularly Cognizant products (Facets, EAM, Care Advance) and/or Optum products (CES, EASYGroup, PSI).
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with Automic Automation software.
  • Proficient in Windows Server administration and troubleshooting; Linux experience is a plus.
  • Experience with web hosting platforms (IIS, Tomcat, etc).
  • Powershell scripting and automation skills (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Application performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with monitoring software, preferably SolarWinds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset and capability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong process documentation skills.
