IAM SailPoint Engineer

MBI Digital is looking for an an experienced IAM SailPoint Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ engineering. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our IAM team, responsible for capturing technical requirements based on the business requirements derived from the assessment and roadmap exercise.

The assessment will have already outlined the current environment, identified gaps, and provided a high-level plan to redesign the IAM solution. As an IAM SailPoint Engineer, you will be actively involved in the development of the detailed implementation plan and lead the design, development, and implementation of the reengineered SailPoint IdentityIQ environment.

This is a remote opportunity and candidate should be based in the US. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the IAM team and business stakeholders to understand the technical aspects of the business requirements derived from the assessment and roadmap exercise.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the reengineered SailPoint IdentityIQ solution.
  • Assist in the development of a detailed implementation plan, including resource allocation, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Lead the design and architecture of the reengineered IAM solution, ensuring it aligns with best practices and industry standards.
  • Perform hands-on development and customization of the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform to meet the specific needs of the organization.
  • Configure and integrate SailPoint IdentityIQ with other applications, directories, and systems as required.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration and data flow between SailPoint IdentityIQ and other components of the IAM ecosystem.
  • Conduct thorough testing of the reengineered IAM solution to ensure its functionality, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform during the implementation phase.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the IAM team and other stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
  • Document the design, configuration, and customizations made to the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform.
  • Work closely with the IAM Architect, Business Analyst, and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of the reengineered IAM solution.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in IAM technologies and SailPoint IdentityIQ features.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies.
  • Strong experience in customizing and developing solutions within the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with identity management, access governance, and role-based access control (RBAC) concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in SailPoint IdentityIQ or IAM are highly desirable.
