Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the planning and execution of all project management tasks associated with this implementation, which includes full project life cycle covering kick-off preparation, complex discoveries, scope definition, schedules for milestones, coordination with stakeholder for task completion and testing and validation, and resource assignment and management.
• Work closely with stakeholders on developing strategies and workplans for implementation of solutions for supporting specific workflows.
• Coordinate and lead implementation meetings and workgroups sessions.
• Manage vendor relations and performance during project implementation for optimal development and delivery.
• Assist in organizational change management related to EHR implementation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of workflows and data flows within the EHR to support operational needs.
• Work with internal teams and vendor to advance and resolve project issues in order to optimize results ensuring project execution and accountability.
• Lead team through project planning activities including conducting project team planning session, communicating deliverables, clarifying dependencies, leading issue resolution, and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Keep implementation team engaged and accountable to meet project milestones.
• Work effectively with internal team and vendor to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Communicate project goals, milestones, expectations, and outcomes through regular touchpoints, distribution of status briefings, and facilitate internal and external meetings.
• Act as the main point of contact between vendor and implementation team.
• Track project timelines and budget updating the team with status reports to meet and exceed projected metrics.
• Ensure team compliance with deliverables. Document and track progress.
• Provide project reporting and status to senior level management.


Desired Qualifications:

1. Demonstrable experience with county health services delivery and operations.
2. Demonstrable experience with electronic health records.
3. Demonstrable experience with HIPAA, and related privacy and security controls and protocols.
