Project Manager with Infrastructure Background

MBI Digital is looking for a Project Manager - Software Development and Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects for our customer and would be working in supporting their SDI and Automation program. Experience working in the HealthCare industry would be a bonus.

This is a 100% remote opportunity


Required Qualifications and skills:

  • Strong Infrastructure background
  • Familiarity with basic infrastructure lego blocks like
    • Servers
    • App/Web/Database tier products
    • Networking etc.


Solid project mgt skills

  • Ability to lead and drive discussions around next steps to resolve item at hand

  • Ability to summarize object, identify appropriate parties to engage with and then document a plan to complete

  • Measure progress of completion of plan to ensure work is getting done etc.

  • Status Reporting – ability to communicate project status, health, identify any risk and issues with mitigation plan to address


Software/Systems Knowledge:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Project skills

    • Ability to update spreadsheet and build, refresh, maintain pivot tables for dashboard reporting of project metrics

    • Ability to update power point slides with executive level status metrics

    • Ability to create project plan in Project with dependencies and auto scheduling

  • Experience working in Microsoft Teams (working in shared documents, experience with Chat and Teams calls features)

  • Experience using Webex

  • Strong knowledge of MS Outlook

  • Strong experience working with OneNote

  • Self-Motivated

    • Ability to take guidance from program team on what needs to be done

    • Take ownership to document plan and timeline to achieve objective

    • Communicate status to program team


Additional key details:

  • Strong Tech and infra background

  • Experience with working with management.  Executive presence.

  • Understands messaging in addition to the technology, and where the tech fits into things

  • Building a plan/ project planning is very important

  • Very strong PM skills

  • Ideally chief of staff type of background

  • Some of key tasks will include: owning and creating meeting agendas, leading calls, documenting minutes with follow ups, setting up follow up meetings and next steps)

  • Interview process: will be multiple interviews, including one technical/deep dive interview – candidate will provide feedback on use case scenario during technical interview
